Many of Melody's landscape paintings are of Exmoor. The changing vivid colours and skies of each season are magnificent and the low clouds on a wet day give a moody feel. It is clear that growing up on Exmoor has left a lasting memory which she restores on her many visits.
"Once visited, never forgotten" is one of the many things the Exmoor National Park web site has to say. If you are interested and want to explore more of the remote regions of Exmoor, we would recommend a trip with Discovery Safaris of Porlock. Maybe we are a little biased as Richard is Melody's brother, but clearly both share a love of Exmoor although they express this in different ways.
A visit to Exmoor National Park is a truly memorable experience, only beaten by having one of Melody's landscape paintings hanging over your fireplace, to view and appreciate every day.
